LookLab is a startup in the fashion space. We're based in New York and looking for a full-time lead developer. You would join the founding team to build out the product and architecture, also growing your own team of amazing coders.
This position is an exciting opportunity if you have a strong interest in developing and scaling a complex content management site. This is an innovative startup environment where you will make a fundamental impact on the success of the company.
The ideal candidate would see himself/herself this way:
You are a world class Django/Python coder and expert in all things dealing with scaling and managing a cloud-based environment. You develop with the user and market in mind bringing innovation and bright ideas to the planning of new features.
Skills & Requirements
4+ years agile development with Python/Django stack
Expertise in JavaScript, jQuery and general client-side technologies (AJAX/REST)
Expertise in Postgresql
Proficiency with HTML/CSS
Proficient with AWS
A keen interest in trends in online technology and media is a must
