Job Description
GLOSSYBOX is a product of Beauty Trend GmbH and one of the currently most exciting Rocket Internet ventures. We are an ecommerce retail company that specializes in providing monthly subscriptions of product samples in the beauty, fashion and lifestyle segments. Since launch in March 2010 the company’s growth has been tremendous: With over 300 employees we are already active in more than 17 countries worldwide and will increase this number through 2012. We are also working on establishing our concept in other exciting markets and entering additional segments.

Graphic Designer Internship
YOU ARE able to conceptualize and execute an idea and are well aware of emerging design trends within the industry and have basic to advance knowledge of Internet and web technologies, content and best practices. An intuitive understanding of user experiences is a plus.
This position plays a key role in developing breakthrough design concepts for luxury brand ecommerce startup.
Reports directly to the Head of Brand Management.
Responsible for conception, design, and execution of innovative visual materials for Brand Management added value and presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and support by providing design solutions
Experience and Requirements
Strong design portfolio, ideally in the beauty/fashion/retail industry
Strong understanding of front-end website development
Solid understanding of digital photography and color management
BFA in or seeking Graphic Design or equivalent experience/education
Strong sense of style and creativity
Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy
Working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Powerpoint
Possess highly polished professional skills (Written, verbal, presentation, etc.)
Ability to multi-task, managing multiple projects, people and initiatives. Passion for Beauty
